Return Eligibility
ModulesLink accepts returns of industrial control modules, AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters, signal isolators, IGBT/SiC gate drivers, and LED driver modules within thirty (30) calendar days of delivery, provided the product is in its original, unused condition with all accessories, datasheets, packaging, and protective materials intact. Products must show no signs of installation, soldering, mechanical modification, or electrical operation. For warranty-related returns of defective products, please refer to our Warranty Policy, which provides separate coverage periods of up to thirty-six (36) months depending on the product category. Customized products, including DIN rail power supplies with non-standard output voltages, products with custom connectors, and items manufactured to customer specifications, are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Process
To initiate a return, you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from our customer service team. Contact us via our inquiry page within thirty (30) days of delivery, providing your order number, product model number, serial number, and the reason for return. Our team will review your request within two (2) business days and, if approved, issue an RMA number along with detailed return shipping instructions and the designated return address. Products returned without a valid RMA number will be refused at our receiving facility. The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the return package, and products must be packaged to prevent damage during transit using the original packaging or equivalent protective materials.
Return Shipping Costs
If the return is due to our error, such as shipping the wrong product, incorrect quantity, or a product that arrives damaged or defective, ModulesLink will cover the full cost of return shipping and provide a prepaid shipping label. For returns due to customer preference, including order cancellation after shipment, incorrect product selection, or no longer needed items, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, original outbound shipping charges, and any applicable restocking fees. Returns must be shipped using a trackable shipping method with signature confirmation to ensure safe delivery to our facility.
Restocking Fees
A restocking fee of fifteen percent (15%) applies to returns of standard industrial automation products that are not defective or damaged, reflecting the costs of inspection, repackaging, and reintegration into our inventory system. The restocking fee is waived for returns resulting from our error or for products that arrive defective. Customized products, special order items, and products returned after the thirty (30) day return window are subject to a restocking fee of up to thirty percent (30%) or may be non-returnable, at our sole discretion.
Refund Processing
Upon receipt of your returned product, our quality inspection team will evaluate the condition of the item within five (5) business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days, depending on your bank or payment processor. Refunds for bank wire transfers may take up to twenty-one (21) business days to appear in your account. Shipping charges, customs duties, and bank fees are non-refundable except in cases where the return is due to our error. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
Exchanges
If you need to exchange a product for a different model, output voltage, or form factor, we recommend processing the return for a refund and placing a new order for the desired product. This approach ensures the fastest delivery of your replacement industrial power supply. Alternatively, contact our sales team to discuss exchange options, which may be available for in-stock items with the same or similar value.
