Warranty Coverage

ModulesLink warrants that all industrial control modules, including AC/DC enclosed power supplies, DIN rail power supplies, DC/DC converters, active signal isolators, IGBT/SiC gate drivers, and LED driver modules, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. The standard warranty period is thirty-six (36) months from the date of shipment for AC/DC and DC/DC power supply products, twenty-four (24) months for signal isolators and gate drivers, and twelve (12) months for accessories such as DIN rail kits and connectors. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. During the warranty period, ModulesLink will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective product at no charge, provided the product is returned freight prepaid to our designated service center.

Warranty Conditions

To ensure warranty coverage remains valid, the product must be installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the specifications outlined in the official datasheet and our published application notes. Installation must comply with applicable national and local electrical codes, including IEC 62368-1, UL 62368-1, IEC 61558, and EN 50155 where applicable. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, reverse polarity, overvoltage beyond rated limits, exposure to corrosive environments, lightning strikes, unauthorized modification or repair, natural disasters, or failure to follow our documented maintenance procedures. Products must be operated within the rated input voltage, output current, temperature range, and derating curves specified in the product datasheet.

Warranty Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim, contact our technical support team via our inquiry page with the product model number, serial number, date of purchase, and a detailed description of the defect. Our team will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number within two (2) business days. Products must be shipped to our designated service center with the RMA number clearly marked on the package. We will evaluate the returned product within five (5) business days of receipt and notify you of the warranty determination. Approved repairs or replacements will be shipped at our expense via standard freight. Replaced products will carry the remaining balance of the original warranty period or a minimum of ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.

Limitations and Exclusions

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by ModulesLink for its industrial automation products. We disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the defective product. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, downtime costs, or facility damage, arising from the use or failure of our products. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Extended Warranty Options

For selected industrial power supply series and critical infrastructure applications, extended warranty coverage of up to sixty (60) months is available for an additional fee.
